SPECIAL LIFE NETWORK views its annual objectives as promises made to our community and our supporters. We take our promises seriously and remain highly focused on them throughout the year. We strive to deliver the results expected and trust that God will provide the resources to make it happen.  In our first full year of operation we promised the following:

  • Develop a website
  • Document Best Practices, develop content and links.
  • Hold  community network meetings, seminars, training and events
  • Expand network with satellites

At SPECIAL LIFE NETWORK, Every Life is Special!®

  • The SPECIAL LIFE® E-Community website is operational...you are viewing it now. The website connects people in the SPECIAL LIFE® Community that have a passion to work with individuals with special needs. Participants include church leaders, parents, volunteers, professionals, etc.
  • The SPECIAL LIFE® Best Practice Resource Library has over 50 valuable documents and web-links. To access this information you need to register on the website. It is completely FREE and your information will remain CONFIDENTIAL per our privacy policy.
  • SPECIAL LIFE® American Sign Language classes are open to the community and have been held as often as twice per year. In addition four SPECIAL LIFE® Community Network Meetings have been periodically held. Topics include how to start a disability ministry  at your church, and how to integrate community resources to support disability ministries. 
  • Finally, we have had a number of inquiries from individuals outside the State of Texas  about starting a SPECIAL LIFE® Satellite in their local community. The concept of Satellites is still a few years down the road.  However, by registering on this website these communities can gain access new to our Best Practice Library and we would prioritize these communities when we are ready to expand with Satellites. 

This has all been accomplished within the first 2 1/2 years of operation. We thank again all the local churches, community organizations and individuals who have made these accomplishments possible.

God has truly blessed the SPECIAL LIFE NETWORK with great sponsors, caring  individuals and resources. With Him, all things are possible.
